Sunshine and Rain

I almost said today, "Why doesn't anything ever go right for me?" But God corrected my heart before the words could leave my lips and instead what came out was, "Why doesn't anything go the way I expect it to?"

Life sucks sometimes. A lot. But if it didn't, would any real growth, or good, come of living? Would there be any adventure? Any act of heroism? All that said, today sucked. A lot. And things aren't going to go back to normal, at least not right away. But maybe they'll get better -- better than before, all because today sucked.
